Definitely looking for a Lead User Researcher role. Probably still looking for my glasses. 🤷♀️
Research that changes what gets built.
I'm Karen, a Lead User Researcher who believes the best product decisions start with genuinely understanding people. I work on complex problems where clarity is hard to find, and I love the process of finding it. I believe research should actively shape what gets built, not just explain what users said.

I help teams stay connected to the humans behind the data.
A little anecdotal evidence

I believe:
-
The quality of the work starts with the quality of the connection.
When everyone in the room feels genuinely seen and heard, diverse perspectives surface, concerns get raised early, and better collaboration leads to a better product. -
There is no single right way to do research...and that's what keeps it interesting!
Curiosity is what lets me meet each project where it actually is, stay creative within real constraints, and never stop learning. -
AI is changing what's possible, and that makes it more important than ever to understand users.
The gap between capability and trust is real, and research is how you close it.
